Letter 61

Dear you,

All the records are gone,

Except the ones you left behind,

All but mine.

We used to slow dance and sway

That’s how we’d end a long day.

Now I’m watching you sleep next to me

An arm’s length away

But much

Much

Further away,

And soon

I will no longer be able to reach for you.

Maybe we should have danced more?

I really don’t know,

I do know,

I don’t want you to go.

This is OUR home.

Love, me
